Description:
As pretty as any of these pictures are, Jessica Robbin turns out not to be the best girl to take into nature. She fears the wilderness, specifically, bugs and anything creepy-crawly. Her frightened look is completely authentic. And it was not due to the fact that I had just met her an hour before getting her somewhere relatively secluded. Jessica seemed to think it was hot when I joked about decapitating her and doing horrible things to her body. Anyways, she survived and lived to tell the tale of the harsh conditions at the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Area. Afterwards, we went to Costco for a hot dog.

Description:
Back to that time when I brought the pale wonder, Ophelia Palantine, from Oregon to sunny Central Texas. She ended up blocking me on social media because I poked fun at the whole BLM madness of 2020. Apparently, not being racist isn_t good enough for the woke crowd. You had to post your black square with reverence and say only the _correct_ things. The Ukrainian flag-as-avatar trend kinda reminds me of that now. I am mostly sure that we all detest war and the killing of innocent people, but I refuse to subscribe to a simple narrative of good vs. evil. That only seems to get world in more trouble. Complex issues are usually, hmmm ... complex. Go fig.

Much time has passed since I was in college. I walked away with some knowledge. One tidbit was that girls from Philadelphia are cool. Dharma Webb did not disappoint. She is an East Coast transplant from The City of Brotherly Love and was just as easygoing as the beauty in my Film 101 class. Upon moving to LA, Dharma has taken up the longboard and rides it all 100 meters from her doorstep to the sands of Playa Del Rey. I am kinda jelly.

Description:
Rachel Snowflake pulled this cute yellow dress out of her large, but well-organized, closet. It was a hot sunny day out and it seemed ideal to dress her in something colorful and light. Her extensive (and expensive) shoe collection also proved helpful. She explained that she has to keep the best pairs locked up tight since her puppy also has expensive taste when it comes to chewing on shoes. I believe I saw a $1,000 pair of mangled Jimmy Choo_s. Rachel was fairly reserved when it came to shooting in public. But when she knew we were alone, she was very comfortable with showing off her sensual figure.

Description:
Here is the second half of my shoot with Mercedes Llano. You may recall her photos in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles. After those, we wrestled with traffic on the 101 to get to her rented room in Hollywood. The view from its windows was awful, unless you were looking in. The private setting allowed me to photograph Mercedes wearing much less than outdoors. I felt Mercedes grow shy for a moment, but that was short-lived.
