Sneaking into a derelict building, Sam hides himself in a corner of the room. With nothing but the clothes on his back, the spare change he was given from the streets and an old stopwatch that doesn't work, Sam sighs before making himself comfortable amongst the abandoned furniture, trying his best to fall asleep.



That is until he hears oncoming footsteps. Clemence has been hired by the land owner in a shady deal to remove the squatters in his building, to which she takes great pleasure in doing. Entering the abandoned building and ready to cause trouble, Clemence hunts for squatters.



Seeing Clemence on the prowl, Sam tries to flee. He accidentally presses his stopwatch during his escape, causing something strange to happen. Sam can freeze Clemence in place. With the aggressor frozen still, Sam gets back at the woman that threatened him harm in a very humiliating manner.

Sam and Norah explore a derelict building with a history of scary rumours and urban legends. When they enter a room filled with discarded items that backs the stories they've heard, Norah gets frightened whilst Sam finds it amazing. One of these many items is an old board game that was used to "contact spirits". Despite Norah's reluctance to play, Sam convinces her and the two attempt to use the board. Whilst Sam isn't able to contact any spirits, he does realise that something very peculiar happens when he uses the board. Norah freezes in place. She doesn't even seem to realise this is happening to her either. With the power to pause Norah in time, a devious idea enters Sam's mind.

Another day goes by without a single customer taking interest in buying something from Sam's antique shop. That is until Fanta wanders into the shop. Sam immediately composes himself and serves Fanta as a friendly salesman, offering her all kinds of novelty items to purchase.


Whilst she seems uninterested at first, something does catch Fanta's eye. A collection of gold rings. Sam recites an urban legend about the rings, entertaining Fanta with the story of each ring's supernatural power. Whilst Fanta is fascinated by the story, it doesn't justify the extortionate price Sam has given them.

After Fanta decides not to buy the rings, Sam puts one of the rings on for himself. Doing so causes Fanta to freeze in place just as she's about to leave the shop. Sam is in disbelief that the ring truly works, overwhelmed by the possibilities the ring can give him. That being said, Fanta's insulting comments linger in Sam's head. If he can't get money, he'll get something from her one way or another...

Chanel is a nurse working tirelessly to tend to her patients but there's one in particular she seems very irritated by. Ace, a patient under Chanel's care, calls for assistance. Chanel enters his room with an annoyed attitude, demanding to know what the problem is. Ace explains that his personal alarm doesn't seem to be working right.

Not wanting to spend anymore time than necessary with the patient, Chanel tries to take the alarm off of Ace, however as he tries to get it to work, Ace notices that the alarm seems to have a strange effect on Chanel. Whenever he presses it, Chanel freezes in place. Realising he can do what he wants to her, Ace's frustration with Chanel's lack of care and empathy for him drives him to do something nefarious things to her.
