Veronica Weston is a very serious person. She masks this by being hilarious and making you laugh with her. On this Saturday, we took to the streets as if we owned them. The mural gracing the facade of this New Balance store faces a major intersection. And there was plenty of traffic ogling playful Veronica. Somehow, I do not think this phased her in the least. Then, we visited Aah_s, which is a noveltycostume store in the heart of West Los Angeles. Within minutes, we were told that photos were not allowed. Sadly, we disobeyed. Jade Couture AKA Natasha Malkova is as pretty and sweet and natural as they come from Southern California. She first gives you the impression that she_s a bit reserved, but when you ask her to strip down or do something provocative, you can_t sense the least bit of hesitation. Jade keeps close with her small group of friends and they enjoy going out on hikes and other random excursions in nature. Although she is friendly and full of smiles, one can sense that Jade is a quiet and thoughtful person. She claims that when she was young, her parents kept her in unflattering clothes and hence made her feel a bit like the ugly duckling in school. Seems like that is no longer the case.

Fortunately, we have made strides to see past the many differences among our fellow humans, whether it be gender, skin color, sexual orientation, etc. May be Bill Hicks was right. He argued that our physical bodies have more or less finished evolving. What is now important is the evolution of our minds--how we think. So to those who judge people for taking revealing photos, I plead to them to EVOLVE. And for those who do not believe in evolution, you may recall that nothing was wrong with our naked bodies until we bit into that fruit from the tree of knowledge. You probably need a little backstory to these. They are almost 10 years old. I shot Julia Juliano when I was vaguely conceptualizing what would become Zishy. I enjoyed taking portraits of people and seeing them play up to the camera. And I also enjoyed photographing attractive women. So I started blending the two. Julia answered an ad for an edgy underwear photoshoot and she invited me over to her house in the Valley. We started shooting and her energy began compelling Julia to do more and more provocative things. She was throwing out her own ideas, ripping off clothing. I was intrigued by how enticing a woman could be as long as the results contained an element of tease and creativity. She was also honest about
the human addiction to sex. These days, it gets harder to find people like Julia. A lot of other shit has changed since 2011, but mostly I just use dark theme now on my phone. Keep wild alive.

Olivia Pelton met me in Santa Monica with an attitude that was perfect for Zishy. Her e-mail message was basically like, Heck yeah, I can do that.

When I showed her these pics, I also asked if she had any facts about herself she_d like to share on the site. This is what she came up with: My all-time favorite bands are Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. I think one of the greatest albums of all time is Abbey Road. One of my favorite musical compositions of all-time is Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin. HUGE Lord of the Rings fan. I am a very picky eater and will often times order off the children_s menu at various restaurants. My favorite color is RED just like those awesome boots

I have more excitement and adoration while looking straight up the trunk of a majestic redwood than when I_m in close proximity to palm trees or even Hollywood celebrities, so although Hollywood is where I am now, I hope to one day find myself living in Northern California.

Penelope Lynn already graduated from college with a degree in Biology. She says the strongest part of her body is her tongue, which is the result of years playing the flute. When I was in high school, I was a big fan of Led Zeppelin. I am bummed now to learn that rather than being gods of classic rock, they were actually just a stellar cover band.
