Storyline: Recently widowed, Alice arrives at her country home to rest and reflect on her relationship with her late husband, a misogynist psychiatrist, who cared little for his wife's needs. Over the phone, she is harassed by Luis Carlos, the family lawyer, but Alice treats him coldly caring little about his declarations of love. Wanting to regain part of her personality repressed by her husband and leave past frustrations behind, Alice opens herself up to new experiences. That's why she dedicates a special affection to Jumbo, a pet horse, and gives also herself to Marta, a young college student who, like Alice, went to the country looking for a quiet place to reflect on her life. Rewarded with new experiences, Alice is more receptive to Luis Carlos' insistence. She invites him to visit her and welcomes him as a teenager in love. In the middle of an argument, Alice kills him with two shots. The next day, after incinerating the body, she peacefully leaves back to the city determined to start a new life
