Description : Here is a basic review of our casting process. We hold the casting on our 2nd day after arriving in the Czech Republic. Petra, our Czech modeling agent, told us that two of the models that we had expressed interest in, Ashley Bulgari and Viktoria Sweet, would not be able to attend the main casting because Ashley actually lives in Germany and it was too far for her to come down (approximately 7 hour car ride) for just a casting, and Viktoria Sweet was out of town on vacation at the time. We have included both of their sample pictures as part of this casting at the end because these are what we had to go by when making our model selection decisions. The casting was held from 10:00am - 2:00pm and all of the girls had arrived on time. This was one of the smallest Euro castings that we have ever had, but as you will see it is not always about quantity, it's about quality. Petra told us that by now (she has been our Czech agent since 2002), she knows what type of models we are looking for, so she does not even bother to invite the models that she knows we would not select anyway. I understand her reasoning and logic for doing this but I told her that I would rather still see more models than less as we would like to be the ones who make the decision as to whether a model is worth shooting or not. I think next year she will invite more models to the casting again. However, even with the limited models that attended this year's casting, we think that overall the models that were selected are better than the prior two years in Czech.
