Prison of Hell follows three girls who attempt to escape an island-based prison complex known as K3. When one is captured, they torture her for information she doesnt know, resulting in 30 minutes of the most realistic v!olence ever put on film! Bethmann stars as the doctor, and hes a slime bag extraordinaire. The warden and Sub Warden are pretty vile, but Bethmann steals the show as Dr. Bertucci (an alias he used to direct hardcore films for years)....

There have been several prior film adaptations of the novel: a 1968 Pink film (Hana to hebi yori: niku no shiiku), a 1974 Roman porno with Naomi Tani in her first starring role for Nikkatsu studio, and a 3-film Nikkatsu series (1985-1987)
