Ascot gained the power of the dark side after she witnessed the murder of her sister by a soldier named Wiesder. The soldier then cut off Ascot 's hand and tortured her for information about her family 's magic when Ascot refused, Wiesder burning her alive on a bonfire. The demon, however, stepped in and completely recovered Ascot 's body, and provided her with the power of the dark side. It opened up an opportunity to quell her hatred and satisfy her thirst for revenge. So now she goes to search for the Wizard, interacting with others, engaging in a struggle with lovers and creating alliances and enemies with various factions.
