My name is Serena and i_m 19 years old. I am currently in college majoring in Psychology and minoring in business. I am a straight A student and am very serious about my studies. One day I plan to own my own therapist practice with my own special twist. Something I am also passionate about is living a healthy lifestyle. Eating healthy and working out are high up on my list of priorities. I try to go to the gym everyday, and I prefer to eat clean foods and stick to a healthier diet. To me, there is no better feeeling than knowing you helped someone out or made them feel better in any way. Something interesting about me is that I used to be somehwat of a tomboy and now I_m super girly. My favorite color is pink and I love anything sparkly. I am also good at cooking and love cooking for other people. One day I hope to have a house on the beach with the love of my life. My love life is currently all over the place as my last relationship messed me up. I dated a guy for 2 and a half years and was emotionally and mentally abused. I never realized what I was going through until I finally got out of it. Thats why one of my favorite quotes is You can_t see red flags when you_re looking through rose colored glasses. Its so hard to be with someone for so long and let them go, but it is so important to put yourself first. The pain oof holding on was way greater than the pain I thought I would have from letting go. Although it hurt, it changed who I am as a person and I am much wiser now. I would never know what I do now if it weren_t for that relationship. Since then, this year has just been dedicated to loving myself no matter what. The healing journey will continue for the rest of my life, and I am happy with that.
