A transparent mirror in one of the rooms of the Play Motel is a way to obtain compromising photos of rich perverts, with the purpose of further blackmailing lechers. The wife of the publisher Quadrifoglio, having accidentally discovered racy photos on her husband, with which unknown people were blackmailing him, went to the Play Motel to investigate and was killed there. The criminals hid her body in the trunk of the car of an unsuspecting married couple. When the body was discovered, the police commissioner did not accuse the middling actor and his wife of murder, but offered them to participate in the investigation: first as unsuspicious observers, and then as decoys.

Caligula, The Ultimate Cut

This film is a complete reimagining of Caligula (1979). 96 hours of never-before-seen footage was restored many years after its release. Rather than adding new footage to scenes, the entire film was re-edited from scratch to create a unique version that did not contain a single frame from the original. This was done to stay as close as possible to Gore Vidal's original script. Visual effects were used to enhance scenes and replace cheap sets and backgrounds. Artificial intelligence technology was used to restore dialogue that was previously unusable due to background noise.

Peter O'Toole is very good as the troubled Emperor Tiberius, rotting alive from a bouquet of STDs. Helen Mirren has many more scenes, which helps to develop the character of Caesonia. Danilo Donati's detailed sets are still impressive, especially the underground orgy dungeon with an elevator (!), the ship-brothel, and the giant three-story platform that cuts off the protruding heads of people buried in the ground. The restored image allows us to see them better.

Brass had an unusual approach to filming: he shot the scene with four cameras at once. It seems that Negovan inserted into the editing all the master shots available to him, that is, those long takes that show a scene in a long shot from beginning to end, placing all the characters in the frame.
