I was watching Boyz N The Hood the other day. It was the first time I had ever seen the award-winning film. Cuba Gooding_s character is a teenager that works at Fox Hills Mall, which is, or perhaps I should say was, an actual mall. Now it has become the Westfield Culver City. Why the change? Well, some corporate heads probably decided it was time to convert the local _black_ mall into a venue for everyone. I recall walking into Fox Hills a decade ago and realizing I was not the target demographic. You would not find a Forever 21 or Abercrombie & Fitch. But if you needed to buy a snazzy red suit with matching hat and alligator skin shoes, Fox Hills was your place. Anyways, here is Caroline Ray in a risky outing to the new (and improved?) Westfield Culver City.
