Courtney's boyfriend has been anticipating their break up for weeks now, so he's had time to prepare a "Plan B". While she tries to leave for good this time, he uses a remote control that sends a signal to Courtney's brain, making her a mindless robot. Her free will is removed and she can only do what she is told to do. While under the effects of the remote, Courtney has no thoughts in her pretty, little head - only a need to obey.
