In the movie, Mahina returns to her dorm room, drops her bag and sits down. She grabs some chips out her bag and makes a phone call telling her roommate she is going to take a quick shower then hit the library for more studying. She completely undresses then enters the bathroom and washes her hands, getting ready to wash her face when she is suddenly garroted by someone who was hiding in the bathroom. She throws herself back, jamming him against the wall where he falls. She falls with him and manages to get up and try to run away but her grabs her, spins her around and delivers a big blow that sends her crashing to the floor. When she awakens, she is outside, in a vacated lunch area under construction so no one is around. She is tied tightly to a pole with a double rope tightly pressed against her throat. There is a clicking behind her. She tries to look back but cannot. The rope tightens with each click. She realizes what is happening and screams she's going to die. The killer continues to crank the rope tighter until it cannot constrict any further. Her body shudder and spasms as her life slowly slips away from her. He watches her bare feet go from the tips of her toes to settling back on her heels. She is dead. Moments later her roommate arrives, coming in calling out Mahina's name but hearing nothing.....
