Combat is a lot of fun as well with a couple of minor gripes: By pressing one trigger you can use ìDemon Formi weapons. The other trigger is for ìAngel Formi weapons n which means you_ve got a lot of cool moves at your disposal. But picking between Demon and Angel tactics can also confuse you in the midst of battle. Another minor complaint is that the game automatically locks onto enemies meaning sometimes you canit hit the baddie that you want to. The story is dark and engrossing which is always a plus. KC) What_s going on EIla?EA) Kat after an exhaustive round of heated negotiations Tuesday night the US House of Representatives voted 257 to 167 in favor of the bill. 172 Democrats and 85 Republicans supported the new legislation with 151 Republicans and 16 Democrats voting against it. The new bill will see taxes rise for the wealthiest 2-percent while limiting the impact on the country_s middle class. However it does not address the US debt ceiling which will need to be raised again after hitting the 16.3 trillion dollar mark. The bill also delays major federal spending cuts which would reduce the budgets of most agencies and programs by 8 to 10 percent. QUICK TURN TO TVEA) In other words Kat there_s still a LOT of work to be done. KC) So now that they_ve avoided this first hurdle Eila what kind of deadlines lie ahead?EA) As far as the debt ceiling goes politicians will need to agree to raise the limits by late February or early March.KC) And we all know how that went last year when political squabbling led to a US credit downgrade. And what about these other budget cuts?EA) Well this new bill delayed the budget slashes to federal programs - which are known in Washington as the sequester - for about two months. According to the White House failing to alter the cuts could have a devastating impact on defense and non-defense programs. KC) It_ll be very interesting to see how this unfolds we_ll be watching thanks very much Eila. This year_s strain is particularly vicious. The virus has already led to dozens of deaths and hospitalized thousands of others across the country. Medical experts are already calling it the worst flu season of the last decade. For a full update on the scope of the bug_s impact we_ll turn things over to Peyton Priestly.PP) Eila according to the latest numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 41 US states have now shown widespread flu activity. That_s a big jump up from 31 states last week. More than 22-hundred people have been hospitalized by the bug which doctors say is far more severe than last year_s strain.Hospitals nationwide have been forced to find extra beds to treat infected patients. And things are particularly bad in Boston where reported infections are TEN TIMES higher than last year. Boston_s mayor has declared a public health emergency and medical teams there will be doling out free flu shots over the weekend.PP) The the questions IS EIla have you got your flue shot yet?EA) NO but now you_ve got me thinking I SHOULD Do we know why this year_s outbreak is so much worse than previous year_s?PP) The simple answer is no unfortunately. One theory is that because the flu season came earlier than normal this year and hit right at the peak of the festive season it impacted sleep deprived people who_d been partying and staying up late over the holidays.EA) I GUESS that kinda makes sense.
