Although the fires are predominantly found in sparsely populated areas, several towns have been evacuated over safety concerns. To make matters worse, relentless winds of up to 50 miles per hour have caused the flames to spread quickly. Although hundreds of firefighters have already been dispatched, it may take several more days before the fires are contained. RW) And one of the world_s most wanted Nazi war criminals has died in Germany. Reports have confirmed that Klaas Carel Faber CLASS CARE-ul FAH-bur died of natural causes at the age of 90. Although born in the Netherlands, Faber volunteered for Hitler_s infamous SS unit in his early 20s. After the Second World War, he was sentenced to life in prison for a number of high-profile war crimes.
