A campaign has started in Abu Dhabi to keep foreigners from wearing (make quotations) ìrevealingi clothing. And weire not talking about bikinis or halter tops, either. Weire talking shorts. (sarcastic) You know, the kind of thing youid where in a place where temperatures regularly top 105 degrees Fahrenheit? A 23-year old woman there has begun a campaign to get foreigners to dress more conservatively under the Twitter hashtag UAEdresscode. And donit think itis just women. The campaign also targets men deemed to be wearing clothing thatis too tight fitting. The campaign wants to warn foreigners to cover up and ultimately block them from entering public spaces like shopping malls if they donit. Meanwhile just down the desert highway in Dubai, a highly-paid talent recruiter was arrested and subsequently FIRED from her 150 thousand dollar a year job after being caught having sex in the back of a cab 29-year old Brit, Rebecca Blake, says she doesnit remember a thing, but admits sheid been drinking for ten hours before hailing the cab with a male friend. The driver saw what was happening in his rearview and pulled over to tell police. Blake was then arrested and thrown in a holding cell for five days. She_s now facing charges for having sex outside of marriage and being drunk in a public place, both criminal offences in the strict islamic state. She faces up to 3 years in jail.Weill wrap up this first look at the news stateside, where a popular Boston-area coffee chain has been put under the microscope for hiring too many attractive young women Federal authorities are investigating Marylouis Coffee for employment discrimination. According to the Boston Herald, the feds have been investigating the chainis employment practices for more than a year now. The companyis owners say theyive been in business 25 years with no complaints and claim their the victims of a witch hunt.
